Responsible for supporting the Guest Services Department in all capacities including, but not limited to, resort cleanliness, set-up/tear down of events and promotions, building maintenance and general guest support and safety.

Position Requirements/Skills:

  • Proven self-motivation, ability to work well with minimum supervision
  • Previous manual labor experience an asset
  • Work well within a diverse team environment
  • Work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Flexible availability: including evenings, early mornings, weekends and statutory holidays
  • Driver’s License

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow opening, closing and daily on-going procedures and checklist
  • Snow removal and ice removal as required
  • Maintain supplies to Kids Centre, Administration Building, Ridge Day Lodge, Black Forest Day Lodge, etc.
  • Assist in maintaining buildings around resort – ex. Change light bulbs, plumbing, etc.
  • Check all washroom facilities at regular intervals to maintain clean and fresh facilities
  • Assist in the setup and tear down of events including, but not limited to, Christmas decorations, Carnival, Big Reds, Big Whites, guest receptions
  • Support Event Team where necessary to help with execution daily, weekly and annual events
  • Work cooperatively as a member of the Guest Service Team
  • Comply with all department and company policies, and procedures
  • Perform other tasks, as assigned by management
  • Uphold the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to sit and stand for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 kg
  • Must be able to kneel, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill duties
  • Requires grasping, using tools, writing, standing, sitting, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity
  • Work outdoors in cold conditions
