Want to help design and build a greener world? Interested in finding decarbonization solutions for the mining industry? In contributing to critical and strategic metal extraction projects that promote the energy transition? Is so, join our mechanical engineering team working in the mining and processing sector. You will be exposed to a variety of situations that will develop your technical and management skills in the following areas: materials handling, industrial plant layout, pumping, machine design, and finite element design and analysis of mechanical systems. You’ll have the chance to work on various projects under the supervision of more experienced engineers. We need talented people with leadership qualities to coordinate the technical work of all stakeholders.

  • Plan and lead constructive work meetings.
  • Coordinate project progress with the client and suppliers.
  • Coordinate the work of drafters or designers.
  • Perform engineering calculations and produce specifications.
  • Draft technical documents for the purchase of industrial equipment.
  • Prepare drawings and specifications for the construction of industrial facilities.
  • Perform onsite technical information surveys.
  • Supervise the work and commissioning of the designed systems.
  • Prepare proposals.

Overview of certifications and job requirements

  • Three years in an undergraduate mechanical engineering program (at least 80 accumulated credits)
  • Good communication and technical writing skills
  • Asset: experience in the heavy industry sector (mining, petrochemicals, energy, etc.)
  • Asset: bilingual (English and French)
