Mechanical Engineer Ski-doo
We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer reporting to the Team Leader, Ski-Doo Engineering to help us develop the most innovative vehicles. In this role, you'll have a definite impact on the continuous improvement of Ski-Doo to impress the passionate users of our products!
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Develop system components from concept to production.
Collaborate with design, production, purchasing, quality assurance and manufacturing engineering teams, as well as suppliers, in the various stages of the product development process.
Participate in the establishment of performance criteria, draw up validation plans for each system and ensure their execution.
Conduct studies, analyses and calculations to guide design technicians and project developers in their work, using general and specific technical parameters.
Contribute to the development, design and testing of various vehicle mechanical systems.
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or relevant equivalent
Enthusiasm for the various principles of operation and construction of the mechanical systems of a motorized vehicle
Knowledge of design software (Solidwork, Catia or equivalent)
Recognized tenacity and efficiency in project management
Good spoken and written communication skills in English and French, as the person will be required to speak with suppliers and other collaborators outside the country.
