Our Loader Operators have an incredibly important job as part of a team ensuring public safety and accessibility throughout the winter season in the City of Markham. Loader Operators are responsible the clearing of snow as per municipal contract specifications; in an efficient manner, with a strong focus on safety. Essential Duties Snow removal service for City of Markham, primarily focusing on cul-de-sacs. Previous experience with operating a Loader is required. Must be available for on-call 24/7 during the winter season (November 2026 to April 2027). Reliable, trustworthy and able to work varying hours, days, nights, holidays and weekends as needed. Operate in a safe manner, ensuring property is not damaged in the efforts of removing snow. Maintain care of company provided equipment, tools and vehicles. Compensation This position includes a weekly on-call rate, as well as an hourly rate for the time spent working ($32/hour).
