Home Employment Cooks – 2026/27 Winter Season Location: Roxies Café at the East Hants Sportsplex We are recruiting for Cooks to join our team for the fall/winter season at Roxies Café at the East Hants Sportsplex. Do you enjoy being part of a busy events-focused community facility? Do you enjoy cooking and serving food in a Café environment? Do you have some availability to work flexible hours in the fall and winter months, including evenings and weekends? If this sounds like you, please apply to work with us for the fall/winter season! Our Cooks prepare food in a commercial kitchen, and occasionally fill-in as needed in the front of the Café providing customer service for patrons of the East Hants Sportsplex. What You Can Offer Past experience preparing and serving food in a Commercial kitchen environment, or a willingness to learn. Food and beverage handling certificate, or a willingness to obtain. Experience with point-of sale software would be an asset. Current WHMIS, CPR/First Aid certification, or ability to successfully complete training provided. Clean Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry check. You are available to work flexible hours around the operational requirements of a sports facility, including some afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
