Home Employment Facility Attendant – 2026/27 Winter Season – East Hants Sportsplex Location: Elmsdale, NS Do you like being part of a busy community facility? Do you like being the person called on to help with set-ups and take-downs, and doing some of the labour and prep work of getting a facility ready for events? Do you have some availability to work flexible hours in the fall and winter months? If this sounds like you, apply to work as a Facility Attendant this fall/winter season at the East Hants Sportsplex! The Facility Attendant performs set-up and take-down activities such as moving nets and equipment during ice maintenance, moving equipment in preparation for events or closing down after an event, cleaning and preparing dressing rooms, mopping/sweeping, emptying garbage bins, and other general labour tasks around the facility. We Are Looking For Candidates Who Are physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, and can work in varying temperatures. Have the ability to work a schedule that could include some days, evenings, and weekends. Clean Vulnerable Sector check and Child Abuse Registry Check will be required. Hours: Casual and Part-time hours are available. Please note your availability in your application.
