Home Employment Sport Shop Attendant – 2026-27 Winter Season Location: East Hants Sportsplex, Lantz, NS Do you enjoy delivering exceptional customer service in a sports and community events focused facility? Do you enjoy being part of a busy environment with lots of people and events happening, sometimes all at once? Do you have some availability to work flexible hours in the fall and winter months, including evenings and weekends? If this sounds like you, please apply to work with us for the fall/winter season! We are recruiting for Sport Shop Attendants to join our team for the fall/winter season at the East Hants Sportsplex. Our Sport Shop Attendants provide customer service in-person and on the phone in the Sport Shop, skate sharpening services, manage point-of-sale activities for sales, and handle other general Sport Shop duties. Note: Training will be provided. What You Can Offer Past experience in customer service or a willingness to learn. Experience with point-of sale software would be an asset. Current WHMIS, CPR/First Aid certification, or ability to successfully complete training provided. Clean Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry check. You are available to work flexible hours around the operational requirements of a sports facility, including some afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Requirements

Applicants should have customer service experience or be willing to learn; point-of-sale software experience is an asset. They must be available for flexible afternoon, evening, and weekend hours, demonstrate an understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and have the required background checks; WHMIS and CPR/First Aid certification are current qualifications or can be completed through provided training.
