The supervisor is responsible for the coordination of the Snow School Kids Program. Reporting to the Snow School Director, the successful candidate will coordinate the daily running of group lessons, instructor schedules and coordinating instructors and children on snow.

  • Supervise, organize and schedule instructors according to group requirements
  • Analyze and interpret the needs of the participants and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required
  • Conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling when required
  • Communicate changes in policy, procedures, products, services, promotions, or any other alterations that affect delivery of customer service
  • Ensure adherence by team members of company and departmental policies and procedures
  • Training Instructors with children specific teaching
  • Adhere to strict group ratios to meet wage budgets and KPI’s
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure the program will run smoothly for all involved
  • Assisting other supervisors with coordination of other programs offered through the Snow School
  • Assisting administration team with general reservations, sales and various office tasks
  • Working closely with Beginner Area Operations team leaders to operate magic carpet lifts and tube park facility

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to smile and have fun while accomplishing all required tasks is essential!
  • Strong knowledge and experience teaching / organizing multi-week outdoor recreation programs
  • Knowledge and adherence to Alpine Responsibility Code
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, team player
  • Good decision making skills & safety oriented
  • Effective verbal and listening skills
  • Posses’ cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times
  • Able to work outside in all weather conditions


  • High level of computer literacy with proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, Outlook and the Internet
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Minimum CSIA/CASI Level 2 (Level 3 preferred)
  • Strong communication skills with a second language considered an asset
  • Highly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm

Work Schedule:

5 days on/2 days off
