What you’ll do

The Supply Chain Capabilities team drives change through strategic initiatives across all banners to ensure that the supply chain of the future supports the key strategic themes of the company – growth, customer experience and operational efficiencies.
The TMS (Transportation Management System) Program is a multi-year, enterprise-wide implementation impacting several hundred users across the Supply Chain organization. We are looking for a Business Analyst Student to support key project deliverables, including testing, and implementation activities. This position will provide you with the opportunity to build and apply your technical, project management, analytical and communication skillsets.

  • Use of Project Management methodology to support testing, logging and documentation of defects, SOP creation, development of end user training materials and implementation activities
  • Partner with Solution Integrator consultants, to learn deeper knowledge of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) functionality and acquire the ability to support data management efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with IT and Solution Integrator to execute respective assignments captured in project plan
  • Manage activities in alignment with Agile approach (sprint planning, story-writing, sprint demos, retrospectives, etc.)
  • Data upload/extraction in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
  • Conduct data analysis to drive business decisions

What you bring:

  • Enrolled in a post secondary co-op program in a relevant discipline such as Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or Applied Math
  • Knowledge of programming languages/development tools – Oracle SQL
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills.
  • Experience with MS Word, Outlook, Visio
  • Knowledge of Agile Project Management methodology and/or experience
  • Ability to conduct quantitative analysis to support process development
