The Opportunity We are currently looking to hire a Field Technician for landscaping, grounds maintenance and snow clearing. They will be the first point of contact for customers so they will provide excellent customer service while they assist in the construction on landscapes and related structure, maintenance of lawns and gardens and safe clearing of snow and control of ice. The Service Field Technician will work alongside a team of peers and collaborate in performing their duties. Some key responsibilities include: Perform general landscaping, grown maintenance and snow clearing for a variety of residential and commercial properties. Operate and maintain various equipment such as mowers, aerators, clippers, sod cutters and snow blowers. Maintain lawns and grass along roadsides. Spray and dust trees, shrubs, lawns and gardens, as directed, to control insects and disease. Clear accumulated snow from residential and commercial properties as required. Supports Field Supervisor with documenting completed work to ensure Customer delivery commitments are met and invoices are generated. You are a self-starter who takes pride in their work and delivers excellent customer service. Requirements: Minimum of 1 year experience clearing snow, landscaping or grounds maintenance. Complete our in house orientation & training program. Cell phone with data plan for mobile completion of sites. Transportation to and from work. Available day or night and on holidays/weekends. (Day or night shift available) Working Conditions: This is a safety sensitive position. Must wear Steel Toe Boots at all times. Must wear applicable personnel protective equipment at all times (i.e., safety glasses) when required. Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, hot, cold, rain, snow, or shine, we will be serving our customers.
